Welcome
The New York State Tae Kwon Do Association provides athletes, schools and clubs a valuable resource to achieving ones goals in Tae Kwon Do. Our association sponsors competitions, conducts seminars, and supports students when they attend regional and national events.
Each year we host two events; The next and final event of this year is being held on Saturday, October 18th -- New York State Governor's Cup. 
We our events will be held at Queen College and doors open at at 8:00am and go to 9:00am for athetes ages 6-13. Each school has its own badge pick up area so it's easy to find you fellow school members and instructors.
Opening Ceremonies begin at 9:00am.
At 9:30am competition begins for ages 6 to 13 years old. All belts in this age group will be breaking, performing forms, and sparring per their registration choices. Are goal is to get all the young athletes finished by 12:00pm.
From 11:00am to 12:00pm age 14 and older pick up badges and weigh-in. At 12:00pm competition begins for age 14 and older. During this time, the older athletes will participate in the events of their choice - breaking, form, and sparring.
